PUBG: Developer Krafton’s latest earnings report on Friday revealed that Battlegrounds, the PC and console versions of the battle royale shooter series, made a fortune after pivoting to free-to-play in January.

According to the report, sales on PCs rose 61 percent year-on-year to $82.3 million or about IDR 1.2 trillion. On consoles, sales surged even more, up 124% from the previous quarter and 274% year over year, though Krafton didn’t provide dollar figures behind the earnings. The game’s average monthly active users also “almost tripled” compared to the fourth quarter of 2021.
