News: Kojima Productions will take legal action for spreading fake news and rumors!

Recently, a shocking news came from the outside world. A news station in Greece shared a photo. This photo is not the real culprit, but Hideo Kojima wearing Che Guevara attributes. Kojima Productions, the studio led by Metal Gear Solid and Death Stranding creator Hideo Kojima, has publicly denied “fake news and rumors” in a statement on social media. The statement came after Hideo Kojima was wrongly identified as a suspect in the murder of former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.

The statement was made by Kojima Productions’ official Twitter account in Japanese and English. They did not directly mention the misidentification incident, but said that “Kojima Productions has zero tolerance for defamation and will consider legal action in some cases”. Kojima himself did not comment directly on the matter, but shared the tweet via his personal Twitter account.

The real killer is Tetsuya Yamagami, a 41-year-old resident of Nara City. He was arrested on the spot after using a homemade gun to shoot Abe, who was campaigning for a local political candidate in Nara, on the spot.
